ROLE SUMMARY
Pfizer’s U.S. Migraine portfolio consists of two, complimentary, treatments – Nurtec ODT and Zavzpret. Nurtec ODT is the first and only FDA approved oral CGRP receptor antagonist indicated in adults for the acute treatment of migraine and the preventive treatment of episodic migraine. Nurtec ODT can change the paradigm in migraine treatment and potentially establish a new standard of care. Zavzpret is the first and only FDA approved, CGRP receptor antagonist nasal spray, that is designed to provide patients fast relief from a migraine attack with just one spray.
Over 41 million patients in the U.S. currently suffer from migraine but less than 25% seek care. About 1.2 million patients with migraine visit the ER per year and almost 80% of them never sought care from a community regarding their migraine condition before going to the ED. Less than 2% of patients diagnosed with Migraine are taking a CGRP treatment, like Nurtec ODT and Zavzpret, largely due to payer restrictions. Migraine creates a significant economic burden to the U.S. healthcare system, costing over $78B annually.
The U.S. Nurtec ODT HCP Director, Digital Lead, will report directly to the U.S. Nurtec HCP Team Lead and partner with and the US Marketing team, Pfizer digital, CMO, Medical and a multitude of agency stakeholders to evolve and execute Nurtec ODT’s Digital HCP strategy and execution plan. It operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, given how important Nurtec ODT is to the company’s overall performance. This role is solely responsible for Nurtec ODT's non-personal channel performance and partnering with CMO on CRM strategy and execution and HCP media plan. 2026 is an exciting year for Nurtec ODT. This opportunity will afford the digital lead to launch RWE, HCP campaign and branding 2.0 in a majority of digital channels, and beta test dynamic content to accelerate performance.
