The Senior Director, FP&A reports to the VP of Finance and serves as an integral member of the Finance Leadership team. This position serves as a key advisor to the head of Technical Operations/Global Supply Chain and contributes to the organization’s development and achievement of strategic goals. In addition, the individual is charged with developing and implementing more sophisticated policies and processes both in the finance and general operational realms. Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning/resource allocation and optimization
Act as key advisor to the head of Global Supply Chain/Tech Ops to drive results that are aligned to Corporate strategy and goals
Develop and implement forward-looking, financial analytics to provide insights into the organization’s operations and business plans
Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the CFO & VP Finance informed of all critical issues
Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budget/forecast process for the Global Supply Chain/Tech Ops function
Manage consolidation and reporting of quarterly financials
Coordinate cross-functionally with Commercial organization to ensure alignment on key product supply-related issues
Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures
Participate/lead special projects
Other duties as assigned by manager

Mentor company FP&A staff (not direct reports) including evolving mindsets to a more strategic and story-telling level
Lead by example and communicate cross-functionally
Qualifications include:
A minimum of a BS or similar designation; MBA preferred
At least 10 years’ experience in key financial leadership roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical/biopharma industry
Experience directly supporting senior R&D and manufacturing executives
Significant experience in or knowledge of financial planning, accounting, cost accounting, R&D, and technical operations
Experience in a global pharmaceutical or biotechnology organization, with exposure to international markets, is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organizatio

Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker

Pay Range:
In the U.S., the hiring pay range for fully qualified candidates is $270,000-$315,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.Our employees come from different backgrounds, and we celebrate those differences.
