Senior Director of Global Sourcing & Vendor Management

What You'll Do

• Establish and lead consistent and centralized global vendor sourcing, onboarding, and management processes
• Manage the full vendor lifecycle: selection, negotiation, contracting, performance monitoring, and offboarding
• Oversee procurement and vendor oversight for corporate and back-office functions
• Ensure vendor performance, compliance, and alignment with CTI’s business goals
• Manage clinical trial and testing vendors, corporate services, and the full vendor lifecycle
• Drive cost reductions and financial gains through effective vendor management
• Develop and implement a vendor risk management framework
• Build long-term partnerships with key vendors
• Support urgent client and corporate project needs
• Map the current vendor landscape and identify improvement opportunities
• Define sourcing and vendor performance KPIs and reporting cadence
• Review and revise SOPs for vendor processes
• Implement risk management, compliance, and cost optimization strategies
• Launch a vendor performance program for continuous improvement
  
  

What You Bring

• Strategic thinking: align vendor strategy with business goals
• Vendor lifecycle management: expertise in vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, performance monitoring, and offboarding
• Global oversight: navigating global vendor relationships, considering regional and cultural nuances and expectations
• Financial acumen: strong understanding of cost optimization and financial impact of vendor decisions
• Negotiation: ability to secure vendor terms that align capabilities with CTI’s goals, using influence, data, and relationship-building to achieve desired outcomes
• Leadership and change-management: experience building new functions or transforming existing
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in global vendor management, sourcing, procurement, or related fields, with responsibility for multiple regions outside of the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related fields
• Proven track record of establishing and leading centralized sourcing and vendor management functions
• Strong understanding of vendor lifecycle management, risk management, and compliance
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Legal, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Business Development

Familiarity with procurement and vendor management systems
