What You Will Achieve

  • Provide Hospital Sterile Injectables senior sales commercial leaders with strategic insights, action plans and innovation for customer facing engagements

  • Align strategy and execution across portfolio and the field force

  • Responsible for field force design, deployment, and prioritization

  • Ensure the Incentive plans adhere to business strategy

  • Bring proactive innovation to the field through the use of data, technology and analytic to enhance our understanding of the customer and/or the rep business planning process
     

How You Will Achieve It

  • Work with a cross functional group that includes commercial operations and analytics to continuously optimize sales force deployment across the SINJ sales teams

  • Facilitate the transition of brand strategy to sales force execution through appropriate partnerships with the portfolio managers

  • Ensure launch readiness and design principles to prepare for the launch of new products, return to markets, and BD assets

  • Define opportunity and potential for customer groups and define subnational executional plans on the basis of those opportunities

  • Develop the right set of metrics and analytics to understand field force execution and look for ways to continuously optimize our return on investment

  • Leverage tools including MicroStrategy SMART  and technology to anticipate and bring innovation to enhance the sales force toolkit

  • Work with partner teams to ensure account managers and sales representatives have a common platform to understand their business

  • Design pilots and launch Innovative commercial models to drive customer impact

  • Communicate with the other cross functions and sales force team leads to identify and implement best practices, and to ensure consistency in over-arching processes and systems with Pfizer where appropriate

  • Work with commercial operations and sales to ensure that the field incentive plan motivates the field and aligns with portfolio strategy

  • Define field targets, segments, opportunities and call plan agenda as products launch, return to market, have pricing changes

  • Collaborate with CF Strategy and Ops team members to identify best practice and serve as a mentor for new team members

  •  Prioritize and manage workload for an offshore delivery team

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Process Improvement: help identify BU processes for improvement and associated metrics

  • Strategic insight on business plans and critical decisions

  • Ability to lead matrix teams; influence without authority; ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders; influence/negotiation skills and relationship management

  • Strong project and process management skills while working in a highly matrixed and political environment; while exhibiting extreme emotional intelligence

  • Strong Excel capabilities; SQL preferred

  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA preferred

  • 8+ years of experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales; operations experience preferred, District Business Manager Experience

  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
